World health insurance is the answer to our modern world. One insurance plan for everybody makes doctors compete so you can expect excellent service and better doctors. You can assign an immediate PCP (Primary Care Physician) based on convenience and availability, and you should be able to get a new card sent once you decide on a PCP by going twice. The healthcare system will be alerted and your card will be sent automatically. There will still be 24 hr phone support where you get to talk to real people as quickly as possible. Security will be about the same but a cell phone can act as your security pin and personal information, so you don’t have to continue to repeat the same security questions. Instead, they can tell ask you if your information needs to be updated by asking if you are still at the address on file, etc.
Doctors will be sought after and you will be able to find one you like easily through an Angie’s List type directory where the reviews are from real customers that care about sharing their opinion. You will be able to go to any doctor around the world by linking them immediately with your PCP or we could even move to a health history hub that pulls your information immediately no matter what doctor you are at, but it would be nice to have a PCP you trust for recommendations and opinions, and even have one in every town you live in around the world. Then you can still have the hub for emergencies or immediate health history and your doctor’s assistance or opinion as quickly as possible.
